Ayman Naseri, MD

Opthalmology

Dr. Ayman Naseri specializes in cornea diseases and cataract surgery. At UCSF, Naseri serves as vice-chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology, and as director of the ophthalmology residency program. He is also chief of ophthalmology at the San Francisco Veteran's Affairs Medical Center.

Naseri earned an undergraduate and medical degree at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, where he was honored with admittance to the Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies. Subsequently, he completed an internship at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ and then a three-year ophthalmology residency at UCSF, where he obtained fellowship training in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at the Proctor Foundation.
